Peggy is the co-founder, developer & manager of Living Anew Farm, LLC. Peggy faciliates Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) & Equine Experiential Learning (EEL) as the lead equine specialist. Working aside mental health professionals, as well as other professionals qualified to partake in this meaningful work, Peggy offers extensive knowledge and experience specific to horses and how they can benefit all populations and groups. Peggy became certified through EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) in 2010. She believes strongly in the EAGALA model, which focuses on the horses from the ground. Horses provide instant feedback. There is no riding involved with this model, which she agrees is an excellent opportunity for people to interact with the horses in a manner that can offer great insight, enlightenment and receive instant feedback from the horses that is without judgement or agendas. Peggy facilitates with other professionals to those struggling with terminal and chronic diseases, military veterans, addictions, individuals, family, relationships, high risk populations, professional development, school and sports groups, civic organizations, first responders, youth groups, church groups, behavioral health, health care professionals, PTSD, trauma, depression and anxiety.

Peggy provides horsemanship and riding instruction to people looking to build a better partnership with their horse. She teaches private and semi private lessons, facilitates group clinics and educational seminars. Peggy also considers herself a life-long student of the horse, and continues to further her own education in this area by participating in as many clinics as possible each year. Some of her mentors include Barb Gerbitz, Matt Trynoski and the living legend, Buck Brannaman.

Peggy spent 27 years in the corporate/manufacturing world as a project manager in the printing industry. This role has contributed greatly to her ability to wear many hats, connect with all types of people and communicate with clarity and empathy. These skills, combined with a life time of horses, has contributed to one of Peggy's greatest attributes; the ability to roll up her sleeves and get the work done!

My love and passion for these animals kept me busy, engaged and out of trouble.
